Mametchi, a gifted inventor on Tamagotchi Planet, has just built a Forwarding Machine. During its first test, the troublemaking Kuchipatchi knocks its aim astray, and Tanpopo, a young girl from Earth, is whisked away to the Tamagotchi Planet. She is delighted to meet her beloved Tamagotchis face to face, until she learns she has no way back. Mametchi's parents promise to build a rocket that will return her to the very moment she left, so Tanpopo settles in to enjoy life with Mametchi while she waits. When a string of strange events puts the planet in danger, she and her friends end up with far more to worry about than her trip home. The first feature film for the Tamagotchi characters blends adventure, comedy and everyday slice of life.
