The jokes come so fast you miss half of them the first time, which is exactly the point. Teekyuu 5 doesn't care about tennis or character arcs or anything except the next punchline, the next absurd non-sequitur, the next time a girl screams something ridiculous at full volume. If you've made it to season five, you already know there's no story, that's not a bug, that's the whole contract, and this season just keeps collecting the paycheck.

Four high school girls belong to a tennis club, though how much tennis they actually play is open to question. This fifth season of Teekyuu continues the sports comedy, which is adapted from a manga of the same name. The season runs twelve episodes in a short format. Viewers after a serious sports story should look elsewhere, but fans of quick comedy may enjoy it.
