When iron vanishes from Okinawa, a Cana baby named Kanahiru turns up on its shores. He comes from Iron Hills, a distant land far across the sea. The misshapen look of Gana Hill puzzles him, and he even pokes fun at the people living there, yet he chooses to stay. Years later, fierce demons seize Gana Hill and carry Kanahiru off to their island. The result is a fantasy film built around an unusual newcomer and the island he adopts.
