A woman who can see death itself watches a boy convinced he's a killer, except the corpse won't stay dead. That gap between what he thinks he did and what actually happened becomes the entire story. In November 1998, a double killing takes place at the new Ogawa apartment complex in Mifune City, and the runaway Tomoe Enjou flees, believing himself the murderer.
