By season three, Nie Feng isn't just winning anymore. He's methodically dismantling the systems that crushed him the first time, and every enemy he breaks down is a person who actually deserves it. The show remembers every humiliation from his first life like you do. That's what separates this from generic revenge fantasy: it keeps score, and it makes you keep score with it. A kid who jumped off a cliff gets to walk back through the world that killed him and take it apart with his own hands.

In this third season of martial arts fantasy action, the activation of the Zhenwu God's Order reveals to Nie Feng that he is the God King reborn. Weighed down by his past, he sets out on another quest to uncover the truth and strike down evil.
