A modern soldier wakes up in a cultivation world with the weakest spirit possible, a carp, and decides that's actually perfect cover. He's solving cultivation problems like tactical operations, turning a useless fish into something that kills people twice his rank. The show refuses to waste time on self-pity or grinding montages, it moves because Wang Sheng moves, using military logic in a world that runs on mystical nonsense.

A special forces operative named Wang Sheng finds himself carried into Yuanhun, a world of Origin Spirits crowded with powerful experts. The catch: the spirit bound to him is a carp, regarded as useless, and it earns him a reputation as worthless. Refusing to stay at the bottom, he puts the knowledge he gains to work against every obstacle and even uncovers a way to evolve his lowly carp. The old legend holds that a carp able to leap the Dragon Gate becomes a dragon, and in a cruel, quarrelsome world Wang Sheng sets out to prove that effort and nerve can let even an insignificant spirit rewrite its fate in this fantasy ONA.
