Ten years after the Great Tokyo War, Japan has broken apart, and each prefecture now stands as its own nation. Every one is ruled by a prophet called a Mosa, backed by an army known as a Mob, and the nations compete to conquer one another. Nozomi Moritomo is an ordinary girl just starting out in her local gang. When Masami Utoku, her childhood friend and role model, is badly hurt and can no longer fight, Nozomi sets out to handle the requests sent to Masami from all over the country. She is joined by Yukina, a shy girl with no sense of direction, Ai, a cheerful girl who loves to eat, and Chiaya, a quiet, mysterious girl in a gas mask. The four ride their motorcycles across Japan, stepping into territorial wars, disputes and suspicious conspiracies. The result is an action adventure with a science fiction backdrop.
