Nils Holgersson is a farm boy who treats the animals around him cruelly. When he catches the little goblin who lives on the farm, his prank goes too far, and magic shrinks him down. With the farm animals now eager to get even, Nils escapes on the back of Morten the goose, and the pair fall in with a flock of wild geese. Together they travel throughout Sweden while Nils searches for a way to return to his normal size. Made in 1982 as a film version of the 52 episode TV series, this adventure fantasy never reached theaters at the time and was first released to the public as an OVA in 1985.
