The jump to 3D splits the room, but it sets up comedy that couldn't exist in season 1's flatter space. Every ridiculous expression lands harder when the models can actually twist their faces into genuine shapes. The fights breathe in ways 2D never allowed, and the show knows this, leaning into the visual gift it was given instead of chasing what it used to be.

Life in the Ye Palace turns chaotic for two people living under one roof in this second season. Prince Ye Youming has noticed how sincere and kind Qian Yunxi is, and he tries trick after trick to show that he is kind as well. Qian Yunxi is sure he means harm and quarrels with him. She did not come to the palace by choice. Guyu Kingdom's prime minister is her father, and she, the oldest of his daughters, has supernatural powers. People have thought her unlucky since her childhood, and the marriage that brought her here was forced on her.
