Jil climbs the same tower twice and both times it breaks him in different ways. The first season was a joke dressed as an adventure; this one is an adventure dressed as a continuation, and the show knows exactly how cruel that fake-out is. He'll never reach the top because the tower doesn't want him to, and by episode twelve you'll understand why that matters more than victory ever could.

Jil is still struggling to make sense of things, his spirit broken and his questions unanswered. When a mysterious girl named Kai appears with a single demand, everything shifts: she wants him to take her to the top of the tower. Her reasons remain unclear, yet her request gives Jil a new chance to pursue his destiny and climb the Tower once more. Jil must find his footing again even as his hopes seem to slip away. This fantasy adventure sees him rise to the challenge again on a journey that never seems to end.
