Around the year 3000, humanity has reached the height of its civilization yet is losing the desire to go on living. On a small island, a colony of fifty people lives beside a glowing coral reef. Among them is a girl whom everyone calls princess. She descends from the people of the Moon, and the film centers on the story of how her ancestors are said to have come to Earth.
