The CGI leap from Season 1 is real enough that you'll forget you're watching a Netflix ONA until the plot tangles itself into knots around episode four. The five Ultramen moving through space together finally gives the franchise the scale it's been chasing since the 60s, even if the story can't keep up with what the animation is doing. Six episodes means no filler, but it also means the ending arrives before the setup finishes paying off.
Shin Hayata has learned to live as Ultraman, but peace proves fragile. When a devastating alien force emerges from the darkness beyond Earth's atmosphere, a single warrior isn't enough. Desperate, the Science Patrol reaches out to legends of their own mythology: other Ultramen who once walked this world. Five legendary giants answer the call. Ultraman must work alongside Seven, Ace, Zoffy, Jack, and Taro, each bringing their own fighting style and history to the battlefield. United, they form something unprecedented: a brotherhood of cosmic protectors. But old tensions simmer beneath the surface. These warriors come from different eras, different worlds, different philosophies. Learning to trust one another becomes as critical as defeating the enemy. The alien threat grows stronger with each encounter, forcing the team to push past their limits and uncover secrets about their shared past. As the stakes escalate, Shin realizes that saving Earth might require sacrificing everything he's built since arriving here. The season explores what it means to stand together when the whole universe hangs in the balance.
