On Planet Note, a fantasy world, humans have lost the ability to sing. To make up for it, they team up with a non-human tribe whose members still can. The human partners are known as Otokata, users of sound, while their singing companions are called Utakata. Working together, each pair turns sound and song into weapons and uses them to compete, in a TV fantasy with music at its core.
