SYNOPSIS
Zero returns to the academy after vanishing, leaving Yuuki torn between relief and doubt about what happened during their separation. His mind torments him with visions stemming from drinking pureblood blood, driving him to seek answers from the awakened Maria Kurenai. Her cryptic warnings hint at a threat far larger than anyone realizes. But Zero's problems escalate when the Supreme Vampire Council arrives at the school with a death sentence in hand. Killing a pureblood is an unforgivable crime in vampire society, and they want justice. Just as execution seems inevitable, Kaname intervenes with motives that remain deliberately obscured. The atmosphere thickens as old secrets surface, relationships fracture under pressure, and the line between allies and enemies blurs dangerously.
