Ninety seconds that make you angrier at the edit than the episode itself. This is the beat MAPPA cut out of the broadcast: Ketil standing in front of the farmhands he pays and feeds, playing warlord, trying to sound like the Iron Fist legend everyone whispers about while Canute's real army closes in. The animation and voice work are pulled straight from the main series, no cheap side-story shortcuts, and Yutaka Yamada's score does the same slow, dread-heavy work it does in the season proper. It exists purely to make episode 19 land harder, and it does, because you watch a man who has never actually been the myth commit to the myth in front of witnesses. Completionists will slot it in without blinking. Everyone else will finish it and immediately wonder why it was ever removed.

This short ONA is an additional scene from Vinland Saga Season 2, sometimes counted as episode 18.5. It was meant to air as part of the eighteenth episode. The clip shows Ketil giving orders to the warriors on his farm, and it leads directly into episode 19. It is a brief drama extra for viewers already following the second season.
