A group of young boys, joined by a girl and her bratty little brother, form a detective club and set out to solve crimes around Tokyo. Each member contributes something to the team: brains, muscle, a knack for invention, or skill behind the wheel. Again and again the kids crack cases that the professionals could not, which leaves police chief Nakamura thoroughly exasperated. The TV series mixes action with mystery.
