Haruka Sakura starts Season 2 still believing violence solves everything, then the show systematically dismantles that by making him care about people he has to protect instead of just beat. The animation gets better to match the shift: fight scenes slow down not because the budget dropped, but because Sakura's learning to read what someone needs instead of just throwing fists. By the end, watching him choose words over knuckles hits different than any knockout ever could.

Haruka Sakura is back at Furin High School, where the students call themselves Bofurin and guard the town of Makochi. The first-year who came in from out of town wanted only to fight his way to the top, but he has made friends despite his early doubts and is learning to fight alongside his classmates. He has also become grade captain of the first-years. That role is tested when KEEL appears, a delinquent group feared for its brutality and coercion. It first looks like just another rowdy crew, but its sudden arrival and sheer numbers may be hiding something worse. With the odds stacked against Bofurin, Sakura has to admit his own shortcomings and accept help from his upperclassmen to keep Makochi at peace. Adapted from Nii Satoru's yankee manga, this second season mixes action and comedy with drama.
