A celestial warrior wakes up in her enemy's body with no power to fight back, forced to inhabit the mind of the one person every realm fears. The intimacy of that trap, knowing you're trapped inside someone else while they're trapped inside you, creates a pressure that doesn't release. By the time you understand what Yu Zhiyao has actually become, the show has already made you complicit in her survival.

Yu Zhiyao, a jade-growing fairy, puts her life on the line to shield the Supreme God Nan Ze when He Wan, the dreaded leader of the Hidden Clan, strikes the Heavenly Palace. As she and He Wan face destruction together, Yu Zhiyao is unexpectedly reborn, but by mistake she wakes inside He Wan's body. The rebirth has badly damaged He Wan's Hidden Power, and Ting Zhao, the Hidden Guard of the West Sea, arrives to help restore it. Zhiyao is pushed into life as a two-faced leader, acting imposing before others while turning charming around the king. The result is a fantasy adventure with action, told across 40 episodes.
