Xiao Lan, a familiar face from internet memes, turns out to have a lot more personality than his online reputation suggests. He spends his days with a tight circle of friends: the sly Xiao Zi, the always-hungry G Pang, and the fiery Xiao Hong. On paper they are an unremarkable bunch, but put them together and their everyday hangouts turn into small chaotic sparks of comedy. Nothing about their routine stays predictable for long, with odd little twists popping up in the middle of otherwise normal days. Through it all, the four of them keep choosing to meet each day with a bit more energy and humor than the last. Light, episodic, and built around friendship, it suits anyone who wants comfort viewing rather than heavy plotting.
