Two characters who keep finding each other across wildly different worlds, every episode a fresh scenario, yet somehow the chemistry between them remains the most honest thing on screen. The show doesn't need an overarching plot to justify itself, it trusts that watching Beryl and Sapphire navigate awkward confessions, stupid arguments, and sudden tenderness in a coffee shop one week and a sci-fi dystopia the next is enough. Animation cuts corners sometimes, but it never cuts the core: two people who clearly matter to each other, figure that out differently every single time, and somehow that never gets old.

Beryl, known as Green, is gentle and even-tempered. Sapphire, known as Blue, gets flustered easily. Each episode of this ONA places the pair in a different world and shows how they come across each other once again. In some stories they are the closest of friends; in others they are bitter enemies. The show is adapted from the manhua by the artist Ocarina and mixes comedy, drama, sci-fi and slice of life. It swings between sweet and painful moments, and its endings are meant to be hard to predict.
