SYNOPSIS
A ruthless bandit named Zhou Chu terrorizes the countryside, leaving death and suffering in his wake. When a mysterious monk approaches with an unusual proposition, Zhou Chu learns of three great evils plaguing the land: a man-eating tiger, a venomous snake, and a corrupt nobleman who preys on the innocent. The monk offers him a chance at redemption if he can eliminate all three threats within a set timeframe. What begins as a straightforward quest becomes something far more complicated. Zhou Chu discovers that destroying evil isn't as simple as drawing a sword. Each encounter forces him to confront the blurred line between justice and vengeance, between the hunter and the hunted.
