Anime Like Yuki: Snow Fairy
A thirteen-year-old girl drops into a village of orphans with one year to save them or fade away completely. She doesn't arrive as a messiah figure explaining her purpose; she just starts existing alongside them, taming the horse they couldn't touch, becoming part of their world instead of above it. The clock is running the entire time, turning what could be sentimental into something urgent and real: she has to matter to these kids, or she stops existing at all.
SYNOPSIS
A snow fairy named Yuki receives an ultimatum from her heavenly grandparents: descend to a mortal village ravaged by bandits and restore peace within one year, or fade into nothingness forever. With her immortal existence hanging in the balance, Yuki arrives to find a community broken by violence and despair, where orphans scrape by on the streets after losing everything to lawlessness. Yuki's otherworldly nature gives her unexpected gifts. She bonds with the wild horse Blizzard and uses her gifts to inspire the village's downtrodden people to fight back against their oppressors. What begins as a quest against bandits spirals into a larger conflict with a corrupt lord who controls the region through fear and greed. But salvation proves more complicated than simply defeating human enemies. When a Demon God awakens beneath the volcano, threatening to annihilate everyone Yuki has worked to protect, she faces a trial that transcends her earthly mission. Survival now depends on whether a heavenly being can truly understand human courage.
