This is where the show stops pretending the ecchi is the point and actually lets you care about these people. The romance between Fuyuzora and Yuuna moves from background noise to something that genuinely matters, and suddenly all those earlier gags land differently because you're invested in whether they end up together. These four episodes are built for the people who stuck with the manga long enough to realize they were reading a love story hiding inside a comedy. It's not trying to be more than it is, but what it is, a ghost girl slowly becoming real to the one person who can actually see her, is enough.

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san gets four unaired OVA episodes, released in 2018 with limited editions of the 11th, 12th, 13th and 24th volumes of the manga. The first episode adapts the manga's 12th chapter. The final one draws on two later chapters, the 99th, titled "Noroware no Kogarashi," and the 141st, titled "Giri Giri!? Onsen Happening." Expect a mix of comedy, ecchi, romance and supernatural elements.
