The comedy works because it never stops moving. Kogarashi's deadpan reaction to impossible situations collides with the chaos of five beautiful women who don't want him there, and the timing between the setup and the punch lands consistently. The ghost girl angle gives the romance something warmer to do than typical harem logistics. Watch this if you want ecchi that knows how to earn a laugh before it asks you to look away.

Kogarashi Fuyuzora is a broke, homeless high school psychic who has carried debt ever since an evil ghost possessed him. Needing somewhere cheap to live, he lands at Yuragi-sou, a former hot springs inn turned boarding house with very low rent and a rumored vicious ghost said to drive off would-be tenants. He arrives ready to exorcise it, but the spirit turns out to be Yuuna, a beautiful silver-haired girl who remembers nothing of her life except her name and cannot pass on. Kogarashi takes pity on her. The inn's other tenants, all young women, resist his arrival at first, and each of them has a supernatural ability of her own. Among their quirky antics, Kogarashi sets out to find the regret binding Yuuna to the living world before she turns into an evil spirit. The result is a supernatural romantic comedy with plenty of ecchi humor, adapted from a harem manga by Miura Tadahiro.
