Near JR Nippori Station in Tokyo, a stairway known for its sunset views sets the scene for these short slice-of-life films. High school girl Nanami spends time there with Kotobuki, an odd, mysterious cat, and the two relax and trade strange conversations. Kotobuki knows a great deal about certain subjects and seems to live in a world of his own, so Nanami does not always follow what he means. Still, her wide interests and curiosity keep her beside him. Their talks mix crude language with Kotobuki's quirky, old-man Edo way of speaking. The thirteen shorts were shown at 109 Cinemas during intermissions.
