He Fangzhi parts ways with the retired Marquis of Dingwu and presses on through the martial world alongside the reclusive Zhou Luobin, still seeking the truth behind the corruption case against his father. Their road leads from the capital to Jiyang City, an important town on the Liaodong frontier. Hidden schemers set many martial artists against him, and the pair must fight their way past one obstacle after another. Along the way, the facts of his father's case begin to surface, as do old feuds tied to his master in Sichuan, the man known as the Knife Demon. Across fourteen episodes, this third season of Zhen Dao Ge mixes action, adventure and fantasy, setting the martial world against the imperial court.
