Nagi still can't decide between the women orbiting him, and the show knows exactly how irritating that is to watch. Season 2 leans into the comedy of his paralysis instead of pretending it's deep, the love quadrangle becomes the joke, not the plot. The animation stays sharp enough to carry scenes that would sink under their own indecision, and Erika's presence keeps the whole thing from collapsing into generic harem territory.

Nagi Umino and Erika Amano were born on the same day and swapped at birth. Nagi grew up as the son of a diner owner, while Erika was raised as the daughter of a hotel tycoon. Their parents pushed them toward an engagement, and now they share a home with Nagi's sister Sachi and his crush, Hiro Segawa. Despite constant bickering, the household is starting to settle in. Then Nagi's childhood friend Ai Mochizuki returns to Japan and announces she wants to marry him. He turns her down, but she is set on winning him. With four girls around him, each with her own feelings, Nagi has to work out what he really wants in this romantic comedy's second season.
