A single song becomes a complete world. Naoki Arata takes Isekaijoucho's "Lapis no Oningyou" and builds something that moves like a music video and hits like a short film, where every frame answers something the lyrics asked. The kind of thing you rewatch three times in a row because you missed half of it the first time, too busy watching the visuals eat the sound.

A Doll of Lapis is a one-episode music video made for the song Lapis no Oningyou by the artist Isekaijoucho. Naoki Arata directed the animation. The piece carries a supernatural genre label, so expect otherworldly elements set to the track. With a single episode, it is a short watch for anyone following Isekaijoucho's music or curious about animated music videos.
