This show doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is: combat pornography where a genetically engineered girl tears people apart with animal instincts, and the animation budget backs up every second of it. The fights are uncensored, the gore is real, and the heavy metal soundtrack doesn't apologize for what you're watching. You either accept the premise completely or you don't; there's no middle ground, and that's the entire point.

College student Yuuya Nomoto unknowingly takes part in a kidnapping, driving the vehicle used to abduct a high school girl named Hitomi Uzaki. She responds by tearing her kidnappers apart. She then forces Yuuya to drive her to an underground arena where genetically engineered human-animal hybrids called Therianthropes fight in lethal matches. Hitomi is one of them, carrying honey badger genes, and she bets Yuuya's organs on her own victory against a half-lion opponent. When she wins, Yuuya learns he has been pulled into a secret proxy war between four large Japanese conglomerates, with control of the economy as the prize. As Hitomi's unwilling investor, his survival now depends on her fighting in the underground death matches known as Killing Bites. The fighting is violent and bloody, fitting its mix of action, horror and ecchi.
