Yuki Itose is a university student who has been deaf since birth. Her world is small and quiet: she commutes to campus, spends time with her best friend Rin Fujishiro, and gets by through writing and text messages. One day on the train she runs into trouble, and an upperclassman named Itsuomi Nagi, a well-traveled friend of Rin who speaks three languages, helps her out. When he learns she cannot hear, he accepts it easily, and that simple response moves her. Sign language is not among the languages he knows, yet as he shows her a wider world, Yuki begins to fall for him. This gentle slice-of-life romance follows two people letting each other into their lives and trying to find a way to share their growing feelings.
