This is a remake that knows exactly what it's doing: taking a premise that could be pure exploitation and making you believe two people are genuinely in love within four episodes. The animation moves like money is no object, but that's not why it hits, it's Iason's slow realization that keeping Riki around costs him everything he's built, and Riki understanding that freedom matters less than being chosen. The ending refuses to resolve anything, which sounds like a cop-out until you realize the show ended exactly where it needed to: two people who know what they're willing to lose for each other, suspended in the moment before the world forces them to prove it.

On the future planet Amoi, a supercomputer named Jupiter holds control over a population that is mostly male.
