Aikatsu! 4 treats idol training like a ritual you want to join, not watch from the couch. The new Hokkaido unit arrives with its own sound and energy, giving you a reason to care about fresh characters instead of just checking in on old ones. The OST doesn't play over the show; it becomes the show, turning practice montages and costume debuts into moments that actually matter. This is comfort television that earns that label by never confusing it with laziness. You come for the sparkly outfits and leave having felt something real about work and friendship.

The fourth season of Aikatsu! carries on directly from the third, which had passed the lead role from Ichigo Hoshimiya to her underclassman Akari Ozora and Akari's classmates. The big addition this time is a brand-new idol unit hailing from Hokkaido, who join the story alongside the familiar cast. Music drives this 26-episode TV series from 2015.
