Two young souls are born from matching lotus flowers into a peaceful grove. Each is the mirror image of the other, and at the same time its complete opposite. Soon after they arrive, a gaunt figure greets them and offers a fruit it has just picked. Tasting that sweet gift does not come without a price. The story is told as a single film.
