Hamura Shou, a national kendo champion, transfers to Yuusei Academy, a private school for boys. After the headmaster tells him about a student named Misonou Kai, Shou becomes convinced that Kai is the younger twin he was separated from as a child, though Kai firmly rejects the idea. Strange happenings at the school point toward Winfield, a magical land once ruled by a royal family said to bear great white wings. When a mysterious earthquake strikes, Shou and two other students are carried off into another world. There a monster attacks, and huge white wings suddenly emerge from Shou. Back alongside his best friend Naoto and meeting new companions who each have special abilities, Shou begins to uncover his own heritage and the difficult tasks that lie ahead.
