Kyouta wakes up to a war that's been running in the background of reality the entire time. Five supernatural factions have been locked in battle with one another for untold centuries, all with an eye on the arrival of the Aquarian Age. Kyouta starts seeing visions of mystical girls in combat, and he learns that these girls are real. Before long he and his girlfriend Yoriko are pulled into the conflict, and the struggle over Earth and the Aquarian Age comes to rest on them. The 2002 TV series runs 13 episodes and blends action, adventure, fantasy, romance, science fiction and music.
