Thirty-two years later, Chirico walks into an oasis town instead of a war zone. He's looking for Gotho, the man who knew him when he was still becoming whoever he is now. The show has always been about a soldier asking "what am I for" across impossible distances and impossible years; this one answers by showing him sitting across a table from someone who watched him try to answer it the first time.

Chirico Cuvie, the hero of the original Votoms series, arrives at a town that has grown up around an oasis. There he comes face to face with Gotho and his other old friends, a reunion that takes place 32 years after they were last together. A single-episode OVA, it returns to the franchise's world of mecha science fiction, pairing action with drama as its lead meets familiar faces once more.
