This is a show about two people who don't fit together learning they have to anyway. Escha's optimism and Logy's detachment aren't obstacles to overcome, they're the actual solution, the reason the town survives the contamination crisis instead of falling apart. Twelve episodes is almost nothing, but the show uses every frame to prove that alchemy works best when someone idealistic partners with someone skeptical, and that salvation often looks like showing up to work with the right person.
Escha lands her dream job at the Research and Development department of her town's Alchemy division, finally able to pursue the work she's always wanted. Her new assignment pairs her with Logy, a methodical alchemist who seems to operate on an entirely different wavelength. Where Escha is intuitive and enthusiastic, Logy is calculating and measured. Their contrasting approaches clash immediately, but circumstances force them to push past their friction. Strange contamination is spreading across the surrounding farmlands, poisoning crops and threatening the region's survival. To uncover what's causing the blight, Escha and Logy must learn to combine their skills and trust each other's instincts. As they investigate the mystery, they discover that some problems are too big for one person to solve alone, no matter how talented. Their partnership becomes a journey of discovery, both about the dangerous phenomena unfolding around them and about what happens when two incompatible people find unexpected common ground. What starts as reluctant cooperation gradually transforms into genuine collaboration.
