A man built his entire life around being useful to other people's adventures. Then he finds a girl in a meteor crater who calls him father, and suddenly he has to become the center of his own story. The show understands that fatherhood isn't about grand heroics, it's about showing up when someone needs you, even when you have no idea what you're doing. Leicester spends the whole series trying to keep a mysterious child safe in a world that keeps throwing impossible things at him, and by the end you realize that's the entire point, not a problem to solve.

In the trading city of Ert'Aria, which is preparing for a harvest festival, Leicester Maycraft works as an item engineer for the adventurer guild Oasis. One night he joins his friends on a chapel rooftop to watch a meteor shower. One meteor skims past them and strikes the steeple, where Leicester finds a concealed room with a girl asleep inside. When she wakes, she greets him as her father. Who is she, and why does she call him that? Meeting this mysterious girl sets Leicester on an adventure he never expected. Adapted from an adult game by Windmill, the story blends fantasy and adventure.
