These shorts understand what made the main series work: the comedy lives in character collision, not punchlines. Six minutes is the perfect length to land a gag and vanish before it overstays itself. If the randomness of the original's humor landed for you, these specials feel like bonus material that actually belonged in the show, complete with manga scenes the anime skipped over.

A set of six comedy specials based on the Baka and Test spin-off manga, which has run on the Famitsu Comic Clear website since 2010. The shorts step away from the main story to focus on everyday life, mixing comedy, romance and slice-of-life moments. They were released as extras on the Baka and Test 2 Blu-ray and DVD volumes. Pure comedy comfort food.
