The curse forces Kanade to pick between two humiliations every time, and the show mines pure comedy gold from watching him calculate which disaster costs less. The premise never runs out of fuel because the choices get weirder, the girls pile up, and he stays trapped in the same beautiful bind, always choosing, never winning. It's absurdist comedy with a game mechanic heart, and it knows exactly how long a joke can breathe before the next choice slaps the screen.

Kanade Amakusa is cursed with a power called Absolute Choice, forced on him by a self-proclaimed god. Without warning, a multiple-choice prompt pops into his head, and he has to act on whichever option he picks or suffer a headache. The options are always crude, like going to school bare from the waist up or from the waist down, and they tend to strike in public. His outrageous acts have landed him in the Reject 5 and made the girls at school regard him with disgust. Then one choice sends a blonde girl named Chocolat falling from the sky, claiming to be a partner sent by god to help clear a mission. Kanade throws himself into that mission to win back his school romantic comedy. The result is a supernatural romantic comedy with plenty of ecchi gags.
