This is the season where the toy gimmick actually earns its keep. Battle Planet spent its run turning Dan Kouzo and his crew of vlogging suburban kids into people worth trusting with an alien species, and Armored Alliance picks that up by strapping Baku-Gear onto everything, so every brawl comes with a new silhouette and a new reason to yell. Fifty-two episodes is a lot of room, and the show uses it the way the best kids' action shows do: short, loud, self-contained fights that let Drago and the rest of the Bakugan build personality between the smash cuts. Nobody is asking you to cry here. The tone stays bright, the stakes stay planet-sized without ever getting grim, and the Awesome Ones remain a group of dorks who happen to be holding the fate of two merged worlds. If you were a marble-in-the-palm kid, that click still lands.
Bakugan Armored Alliance is the second season of Bakugan: Battle Planet, a 52-episode TV action comedy with fantasy elements. The earlier season introduced Dan and his friends, who learned to battle alongside the alien Bakugan after the creatures surfaced around the world and it emerged that Earth had fused with a second, living plane. The series premiered in Canada and the United States in early 2020 before reaching Japanese streaming services that April.
