Bakugan Interspace is a virtual reality system where brawlers practice, compete in tournaments and gather, and Dan, Shun and Marucho are among its best-known players. When one of Dan's duels crashes the system, he has a vision of Bakugan at war again, and the burst of energy draws the notice of the Twelve Orders, a Gundalian group seeking strong brawlers for its coming war against the Neathians. The three friends are soon pulled into this alien conflict, joining forces with Fabia from Neathia, a new human brawler named Jake, and a Gundalian called Ren to stop the Twelve Orders from destroying Neathia. As the fighting grows, Earth and the future of the Bakugan are put at risk as well.
