Four fairies, Laura Xia, Cora Yan, Sylvia Bai and Symin, sense a shift in magical energy and take the Star Dream Moon Boat into the Fantasy Night Realm, which has only just opened. While defending it from dark forces commanded by Nightfall, they earn the recognition of the Radiant Stars and are named the new Guardians of the Radiant Stars. They pass a trial that awakens those powers, become friends with Aiden and Connie, and fight Nightfall alongside them. The struggle turns worse when the fairies walk into his trap and accidentally break the seal holding him, freeing him and leaving the Fantasy Night Realm facing an even bigger crisis.
