Legoshi's quiet choice to step away from everything he knew hits because the show refuses to make it about drama, it's about a kid learning that love doesn't solve the world's violence, only complicates your place in it. The romance that built the entire series gets unmade by reality, and instead of falling apart, the show gets deeper. What matters now is how three people survive wanting each other in a city that keeps devouring itself.

Legoshi leaves Cherryton Academy after his battle with the culprit who devoured a classmate, and he now lives alone at Beast Apartments while trying to keep a low profile, using his strength only to protect the weak. Louis enters a prestigious university and resolves to face his father, Oguma, while Haru struggles to enjoy campus life. The school adopts a segregation policy that deepens public distrust of carnivores, the meat black market booms, and the leaderless lion gang Shishi-gumi faces a violent newcomer. As devouring incidents rise across the city, a hidden mastermind closes in on Legoshi and his friends.
