SYNOPSIS
Two years after the trio of humanoid monsters faded from the public eye, investigator Sonia picks up their trail again at Draco Chemical, a pharmaceutical company harboring dark secrets. There she encounters Belum Eyesburg, a man whose face mirrors Bem's perfectly, yet who claims an entirely human life: a wife, a family, normalcy. Meanwhile, Bem wages a solitary war to protect his sister Bela, fighting to grant her the ordinary existence neither of them was born to have. When Sonia's presence triggers something dormant in Belum, his carefully constructed world begins to fracture. Nightmares plague him. Questions about his true nature consume his waking hours. The line between the man he believes himself to be and something far older, far more sinister, blurs into uncertainty. As his family life crumbles around him, Belum must confront whether he can ever truly be human, or whether some monsters wear their disguises too well to remember they're wearing them at all. The film asks whether salvation comes through denial or acceptance.
