You've already fallen for these people. Now the movie asks what it costs to keep them alive when the boundary between worlds is closing forever. The quiet moments, a shared meal, a hand held in the dark, become the last ones that matter. It refuses to let you choose between the supernatural stakes and the human ones, because for Akihito and Mirai, they were always the same thing.

One year after the TV series, Akihito Kanbara finds Mirai Kuriyama again, the girl he believed had vanished after defeating Beyond the Boundary. She no longer remembers him, their friends, or her past as a Spirit Warrior. Crushed, Akihito sees that she now has a chance at an ordinary life, free of the supernatural society that both rejected and exploited her. Protecting that chance means he and his friends must hide her origins and keep their distance. Yet fragments of her old life start to return, and a mysterious new enemy leads shadowy creatures into the city in search of her. As the danger grows, Akihito fights to protect his friends and the girl he cares for most. This film is the second half of a two-part story and mixes action, romance, drama and supernatural fantasy.
