Train goes from walking corpse to human being, and the show knows exactly how to make you feel that shift, not through speeches, but through how he stops being alone. The cast that gathers around him isn't filler. Each one pulls him further from Chronos and deeper into something that actually costs him. The action sequences have real snap to them, and the comedy lands without stopping the momentum. Train Heartnet is a cold killer, marked with the number XIII and bound to a shadowy organization called Chronos. For years he's lived as an instrument of violence, emotionally distant from everyone around him. That changes when he crosses paths with Saya, a bounty hunter whose unusual, upbeat way of living fascinates him. A tragic turn of events shatters Train's old world and sets him on a different path. Abandoning his assassin days, Train becomes a Sweeper, hunting down criminals for bounties alongside his partner Sven, with Eve among his new companions. Chronos, and above all his obsessive underling Creed Diskenth, will not let him walk away so easily. The show mixes comedy with action and sci-fi as Train tests whether someone shaped by violence can choose a different future.
