This is a rough sketch of what Black Clover could be, not what it becomes. The animation stutters and the character designs look sloppy next to the manga, but the voice acting sells the setup anyway, Yuno's actor especially carries scenes that could have landed flat. It works as a gateway for people who need to know if this series is worth their time, and for manga readers it's a curiosity piece that shows how early Studio Pierrot was still figuring out the show's visual identity.
