Nobody talks about this one. Black Jack's already a show about a genius surgeon working outside the law, operating on impossible cases in the dark, and then Karte NG Extras just shows you all the times that didn't work, all the takes where the tension broke, where someone flubbed a line, where the bit went sideways instead of landing clean. It's the blooper reel as its own thing, which means you get to see the seams of how Osamu Dezaki built those moments, how close some of them came to being different. For people who've already been through the main series, this isn't bonus content, it's permission to see Black Jack laugh at itself without losing what makes it work.
