Black Jack's deadpan genius finally gets treated like comedy instead of medical drama. SoroTani takes the world's most overpowered unlicensed surgeon and strips away the reverence, letting you laugh at how absurd it is that this guy just... solves every problem by operating on it. The gag repeats because it works, and because Black Jack's complete refusal to care what anyone thinks makes him the perfect straight man to his own ridiculous life.

Black Jack Yanen is a comedy ONA that takes Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Black Jack and reworks it for laughs. The adaptation comes from SoroTani, the creator behind the YouTube channel SoroTani no Animetchi, whose videos have drawn more than a billion views. The series runs for 12 episodes and premieres in 2026.
